recently awarded the Buker Class A ERP certificate for demonstrating best in class operating performance.
In recent plant upgrades of its blending and filling processes, ALMC used Endress+Hauser's field instrumentation
integrated into a Profibus DP network to significantly improve its production yield.

The construction of Sydney Water's desalination plant at Kurnell, South east of Sydney
is in full swing. Water from Sydney's desalination plant will be delivered to customers
this summer. The automation and control of this innovative project is based on Profibus
technology. Endress+Hauser were selected to be one of three key members of the main
automation alliance to engineer and supply all general instrumentation to the plant.

As the coal mining industry’s workhorse, the dragline is the work horse of the
open-cut mine's operation, moving massive amounts of overburden 24 hours a day
throughout the year. Draglines scoop up overburden and typically swing it around
a 120 degree arc before dumping the load and returning to the original position for
the next load. The Dragline’s swing cycle is on average 60 seconds and during this
cycle, its power profile can swing from 30 MWatt peak powering to 9 MWatts
regenerating.
